For those who may not be aware, there is just one golden rule when it comes to this elegant accessory: its meant to compliment not to too match. A white linen/silk square is undoubtedly a wardrobe staple for obvious reasons. White bordered squares offer a finer touch of contrast when worn with the edges out.
